Can Collection Day

EEG is back with more zeal and commitment! EEG is gearing up to achieve more milestones this year, and is hopeful that it would receive immense support and contribution from the community. It is our pleasure to extend to you an invitation to the 26th Cycle of Can Collection Campaign. Since the inception of Can Collection Campaign in 1997 and until the end of 2021 EEG has collected 10,050 kg of Aluminium Cans for recycling. This has led to the mitigation of 151 MT CO2, 2,287 Million BTU of energy and 244 m3 landfill spaces.

We are certain that we will be able to pioneer environmental action through your participation and enthusiasm and to contribute positively to the advancement of sustainable development in the UAE by acting as a focal point for people of all nationalities and ages concerned with environmental protection and responsible waste management.

The collection of cans must start immediately, so roll up your sleeves and sleeves and start the action NOW! Bring whatever you have managed to collect to your chosen site on the 24th February 2022.
