The Rotary Club of Bur Dubai is delighted to invite you to a special fellowship evening with Luca Lombardi, an Italian photographer based in Dubai whose work has appeared in campaigns for brands such as Hugo Boss, Gucci, Bulgari, Omega, Elie Saab, Estée Lauder and many more.

Beyond the polished world of commercial photography and high end portraits, Luca finds meaning in simpler places, caring for his animals at The Camel Farm, exploring the desert in his 1975 Volvo truck, and gathering stories around a campfire.

In his talk, “Eyes Wide Open, Shutter Wide Shut: A Photographer’s Case for Presence”, he shares why not every moment should be captured through a lens, and how sometimes the most vivid memories are those we simply live.

This is more than a talk about photography, it's an invitation to slow down, to notice, and to rediscover the beauty of presence.
