We were honored to welcome HE Mariam Almheiri Minister of Climate Change and Environment at our Rotary Majlis of Friendship on Thursday, 6th of January.
We had opportunity to discuss and to share more information about what is Rotary, what impact our organization has in the world and that for the first time in history Rotary is participating at the EXPO2020 to showcase its service and welcome Rotarians from around the world.
Her Excellency Mariam shared her vision for the Environment and Climate Change, especially the commitment that UAE made during COP26 and the essence of our participation towards this cause.
Environment is Rotary’s 7th Area of Focus and the Association of Rotary Clubs UAE is looking forward to partner and support any initiatives to make our planet greener.
