Association of Rotary Clubs UAE Receives Highest Category Recognition for Rotary Convention Bid

We are proud to share that the Association of Rotary Clubs UAE, represented by our Chairman Mr. Ahmad Belselah and President Elena Schildgen, received a prestigious Recognition Award from Dubai Economy and Tourism (DET) and Dubai Business Events during the Al Safeer Gala held on 7 May 2026.

The Association was honored with the highest category of recognition, awarded in acknowledgment of the scale and significance of the successful bid for the Rotary International Convention, originally awarded for 2027 and now scheduled to be hosted in Dubai in 2029.

This recognition reflects the collective efforts, dedication, and collaboration that contributed to bringing one of Rotary’s most important international events to Dubai, further strengthening the UAE’s position as a leading global destination for major events and conferences.
