For the third year in a row, Rotary once again showed that service and friendship know no borders. During the holiday season, Rotary Club of Jumeirah, Rotaract Club of Jumeirah and Interact Club in DIA proudly hosted the youth delegation from Hong Kong in a visit filled with learning, connection, and true Rotary fellowship.
The delegation, led by Rtn IPP Ella Leung and Rtn CP Alex Hung, included 20 enthusiastic young people who came to the UAE to explore and discover the country’s achievements across many fields. Their journey offered a closer look at the UAE in general and Dubai in particular, highlighting progress in education, business, innovation, and community service.

The Rotary Club of Jumeirah designed a thoughtful and inspiring program for the delegation. An academic visit to S P Jain School of Global Management allowed the youth to experience global education in Dubai. This was followed by a visit to AWS and Amazon offices, where they learned about the latest developments and how global companies operate from the UAE.

The heart of the visit was a special day of service that truly reflected the Rotary spirit. In collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Jumeirah and the Interact Club in DIA, the delegation joined Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, and visiting Rotarians for a visit to the Senses Center for Children of Determination. This ongoing project of the Rotary Club of Jumeirah created a space where joy, kindness, and understanding came together.
At Senses, the group interacted with the students through sports, games, and fun activities. They toured the center and learned about its mission and impact. The delegation expressed great admiration for the advanced technology, academic support, and service excellence they witnessed, as well as the club’s continued contribution to the center.
Following the visit, everyone gathered for a warm brunch that brought together those who served at Senses along with the delegation. Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, visiting Rotarians, and families used this time to connect, network, and build lasting friendships between youth from Hong Kong and Dubai. Words of welcome and appreciation were shared to thank all who contributed to making the day meaningful and impactful.
This visit was more than a program. It was a celebration of fellowship, cultural understanding, and shared values. During the holiday season, the Rotary family came together in its own special way, united by service and friendship.
Once again, Rotary demonstrated what it truly means to Unite for Good, building bridges across cultures and creating memories and connections that will last far beyond this visit.
