Youth Leadership Flourishing Under Rotary’s Patronage

For the second consecutive year, the Youth Service Committee at the Rotary Club of Jumeirah proudly organized the leadership handover and interview process for the Interact @ DIA Club, a moment that reflects Rotary’s unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation of changemakers. This annual tradition ensures continuity, sustainability, and strong leadership within our youth clubs, creating a legacy that grows year after year.

The ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Association of Rotary Clubs in the UAE, under the esteemed patronage of Founder & Chairman Rtn. Ahmad Belselah, whose vision continues to inspire the organic growth of Rotary’s youth movement across the UAE. The event was organized by VP & Youth Service Chair Rtn Dr. Basel Radwan, attended by President Rtn. Albert Alterjman, PP & PDDG Rtn. Tony Ebraheem, Rtn. Nermine Raouf, Rtn. Hela Sellami, Rotaract Club of Jumeirah President Nadwa Khatib, and the Association team Anjelaine Pineda and Reine Zeineddine.

Highlights of the Day:

• Outgoing President Aanya Vora (2024–2025) proudly presented her club’s exceptional achievements during her tenure.

• Together with Nysa Jham and Adit Mital, she received the Rotary Excellence Award from Mr Ahmad Belselah and RCJ President and VP in recognition of their outstanding youth leadership.

• Incoming President Adit Mital, alongside Vice Presidents Arnav Bipin and Tara Vishwakarthik, shared their inspiring vision for the upcoming year, one that focuses on deeper collaboration with Rotary and Rotaract to expand their community impact.

As we celebrated this milestone, the room was filled with a sense of hope and pride. Rotary’s role as a sponsor is not just about guidance; it’s about opening doors, building bridges, and giving youth the space to lead with courage and compassion. Through the patronage of Rotary and the commitment of schools like DIA, the youth movement in Dubai is growing organically, one leadership story at a time.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Aanya Vora and Nysa Jham for their remarkable service, and warm wishes to Adit Mital, Arnav Bipin, and Tara Vishwakarthik as they carry the legacy forward. Their journey is a living example of Rotary’s timeless wisdom: “When we invest in youth, we invest in a better tomorrow.”
