Growing Hope at the National Charity School in Sharjah
On Saturday November 22nd, something beautiful took root at the National Charity School in Sharjah, not just in the soil but in the hearts of every volunteer who came together with a shared purpose. Led by Rotaract Jumeirah, in collaboration with Rotary Jumeirah and the Interact Club, the event was a true testament to what unity, compassion, and community spirit can achieve.

What began as a simple idea blossomed into a transformative day. Together, volunteers planted trees, set up benches, organized waste bins, and revitalized the school’s outdoor space to make it greener, cleaner, and more welcoming for the students who will use it every day. Every shovel lifted, every seed planted, and every corner organized reflected the dedication of people who care deeply about giving back.
The atmosphere was filled with teamwork as Rotarians, Rotaractors, and Interactors worked side by side, smiling, encouraging one another, and sharing the joy of creating something meaningful. The collaborative spirit throughout the day showed how powerful it is when people unite for a common good.
A heartfelt thank you goes to our amazing sponsor, Modern Gardens Company, whose generosity made this initiative possible. Their support ensured that we could bring this green vision to life, creating an inspiring environment for children to learn, play, and grow.
This event was more than a project; it was a celebration of collaboration, service, and hope. The trees we planted will continue to grow, just like the spirit of giving that brought us together.

Together, we didn’t just plant trees.
We planted hope.
We planted community.
We planted a brighter future
