Rotary Youth Service Grand Finale Celebrates a Year of Impact Across UAE

The Rotary Youth Service Grand Finale 2025–2026 brought together 65 Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, families, and friends of Rotary to celebrate an inspiring year of youth leadership, service, and fellowship across Dubai. 



The event was led by Rtn Dr. Basel Radwan, District Interact and RYLA Country Chair in UAE, VP and Youth Service Chair of the Rotary Club of Jumeirah, in collaboration with Rtr Nadwa Khatib, President of the Rotaract Club of Jumeirah, and Rtr Bahaa Olabi, President Nominee of the Rotaract Club of Jumeirah. Organized as a collaborative initiative involving the Rotaract Club of Jumeirah and the sponsored Interact Clubs of Jumeirah and Dubai International Academy (DIA), the Grand Finale reflected the spirit of Rotary International’s theme, “Unite for Good.”


Throughout the evening, attendees celebrated the remarkable achievements of Rotary Youth during the 2025–2026 Rotary year. Interact clubs showcased impactful projects delivered in collaboration with Rotary and Rotaract clubs across Dubai, demonstrating the strength of partnership and the growing impact of the Rotary Youth movement.



The event was honored by the presence of Past Presidents Rtn Dr. Bharat Butaney and Rtn Tony Ebraheem, together with President-Elect Rtn Bassil Wehbe, reaffirming Rotary’s commitment to empowering young leaders.


A special recognition ceremony celebrated individuals whose dedication made a lasting impact on Rotary Youth. Rtn Rose Moraes received the Rotary Youth Outstanding Award for her unwavering support of youth initiatives, and Rtr Nadwa Khatib received the Rotary Youth Outstanding Leadership Award for her exceptional leadership of the Rotaract Club of Jumeirah and her instrumental role in founding the Interact Club of Jumeirah.


The Rotary Youth Excellence Awards recognized outstanding Rotarians, Rotaractors, and Interactors, including Rtn Dr. Nada Syarh, Rtn Tony Ebraheem, Rtn Sajed Shawa, Rtn Devanand Mahadeva, Rtn Stefan Kipp, Rtn Brigitte Richaud, Interact Founding President Maximilian von Struve and other dedicated youth leaders whose commitment helped make this Rotary year a remarkable success.


Adding a special wellness dimension to the celebration, Rtn Dr. Saleh Shawa sponsored a yoga session in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, allowing participants to conclude the evening with mindfulness, fellowship, and renewed energy.



The Grand Finale also welcomed new Interact and Rotaract members through a pinning ceremony, symbolizing the continued growth of Rotary Youth and the next generation of leaders committed to Service Above Self.


More than a year-end celebration, the Rotary Youth Service Grand Finale showcased the power of collaboration between Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact, celebrating a year of meaningful service while inspiring even greater impact in the years ahead.
